Audio Note dac1.1x/II

Hello

I cant find any info of what the difference is between the dac1.1x and the new dac1.1x/II. Anybody?

Also, in the text at the AN website, it is said that the new one uses a single ecc82, while in the "filterectomy" page, i understand that it uses two ecc88.. What is correct?
Maybe the text is not updated, and this is the main difference, that it had a single tube, and now double ecc88..?

A main difference is that the analogue filters were removed.  There were no digital filters to begin with.  There are 2 6DJ8 tubes in the output section.  I don't know what else has been done.

 Thanks.  The dac1.1x/II was made from 2004, and like you say does not have this analogue filter. Forgot about that. So this is a big difference.
It is strange that the info about which tubes are used is not changed in the text on the AN website, when they have changed some of the other text..

  If this is the case, that they have changed from the older 1.1x with a single ecc82 to the new 1.1x/II with double 6dj8/ecc88 and removed the analogue filter, it is no doubt an extreme upgrade in this low level dac. Great!

 Should be fun to compare to the older 2.1x/3.1x WITH analogue filter from before 2003.
